Hello!
My name is Abbi Rodes.
I have been a professional photographer for 20+ years. I started in Seattle on Capitol Hill where we had a studio for about 7 years on Pike Street. My favorite things about being a photographer is that I get to help people feel good about themselves. With lighting, outfits, showing off who you are and your relationship with whomever you choose to be in the photograph, I will make you shine and feel good about yourself. I love capturing the moments to help create beautiful memories that you will cherish for a lifetime.
I have much experience with the wedding jitters, aunt Mildred that needs help because she drank a little too much, the teething baby, the late and tired mom trying to get everyone out the door on time and then yelling “smile”, running in between rain drops for the perfect picture, and wonderfully awkward teenage boys. All the scenarios give me so much joy because I get to help. I get to help bring peace and confidence into the situation. It is my honor that you asked me to photograph you and I do not take it lightly. I will do all I can to help you feel great and at peace. Even if the newborn just fell asleep for their portraits and pooped on dad. It all happens and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it all. Also, I’ve been pooped on as well. Newborns do not mess around.
